How To Care For Your Wooden ULTIMATE KITCHEN TOOLS

Each item is made by Chris from real wood that he harvested from his journey.

"Natural wood needs to be cared for so that it can remain user-friendly and not brittle or cracked. To keep your Ultimate Kitchen Tools in tip-top shape, I recommend:

1. Do NOT leave your wooden tools in water or hot liquid. Set the tool aside when it's not actually being used, and don't leave it in the sink full of water and dirty dishes. Exposing your tool to long periods of hot liquids will remove the protective coatings and damage your natural wood.

2. My kitchen tools are finished with food-grade walnut oil and then a combination of walnut oil and beeswax, which is rubbed directly into the utensil. I provide a rejuvenation kit with your order so that you can restore to this finish over the years of use.

3. When your tools become light-colored, this indicates the finish is wearing thin. Smooth up any rough edges with grade sandpaper, then apply the rejuvenation oil and rub it into the entire utensil, handle and all.

Your Ultimate Kitchen Tools will love this treatment! And so will your hands. Contact me if you need another Maintenance Kit.
